Well done to Alice, Charlie S, Zach, Callum, Sam, Joseph, Emily, Rachel, Evie, Holly and Charlie C for completing their sponsored walk on Friday, despite the rather wild weather! A huge thank you to you all (and of course the five mummies) for supporting Daniel. We will add the final total raised when we have the details!

Thank you to Susan, Adrian, Karl and Yvonne, who baked some magnificent biscuits (see below!) and other goodies for their tabletop sale. They also made sure that they talked all their poor colleagues into buying what was left afterwards, and raised a wonderful 99.50 in total.

Isabella's bike ride (1/7)

Well done and thank you to Isabella for completing her sponsored bike ride around 15 Cheltenham parks. She has raised 225 for Daniel.

Year 1 sponsored walks up Leckhampton Hill (8/7)

More than 25 members of Year 1 and their families set off up Leckhampton Hill in two separate walks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Everyone enjoyed themselves, even though the second set of walkers were very wet at the end! A big thank you to everyone that walked, especially to Linda and Andy for organising it.

Oscar's Toy Sale (7/7)

Ten year old Oscar held a second hand toy stall at the Leckhampton School Summer Fair. Friends of the school donated a huge number of toys and an amazing 302 was raised. Well done and thank you to Oscar, his friends and his mum!!

Well done to Alanah, Rhianna, Bonnie, their siblings and friends, as well as their lovely Mums (and Dad, Vijay) for the biggest cake sale Leckhampton Primary has ever seen! An amazing 231.82 was raised.

Sue & Noel's Garden Party (7/7)


Fraser's Head Shave (18/7)

Sue and Noel held a Charity Garden party in aid of both Daniel and Help for Heroes. They raised an amazing 265.90 for Daniel. A massive thank you!

Fraser had his head shaved, cheered on by more than 50 friends from Bournside School, who all paid an entry donation to watch! Fraser raised 173.40 - well done and thank you!

Funny Feet Day (17/7)

Tabletop Sale (14/7)

The pupils and staff of Leckhampton Primary all came to school with something funny on their feet. Everyone had fun,and a brilliant 671 was raised.

Thank you to the Thursday Mums for their table top sale at The Exmouth Arms. 184.38 was raised, which is particularly impressive considering it was pouring with rain!

Yarnit! (8/8)

The Cheltenham Yarnit knitting group held an extra summer meeting, and had a raffle, and raised 42.50! Thank you to Sophie for hosting, and Julie and Christine for raffle prizes.

JMW fundraising (31/8)

JMW Solicitors in Manchester held a 'non-uniform' day and also had a cake sale, raising 455.70. Many members of the firm have also sponsored Daniel's Uncle James for his triathlon, and they have more events planned. Thank you!!

A huge thank you to Emily, Ben, David, Grace, Harriet and Alice for organising the auction, and to everyone who donated items or bid on them. It raised 2063!

Well done to Jade who managed to be silent for 24 hours - not easy with 2 small boys and a new baby expected any day! Jade raised a fantastic 310.


Mark's Triathlon (9/9)

Well done to Mark, who completed the Cheltenham Triathlon in 1 hr, 12 mins and 48 sec! Mark and his friends have raised an amazing 865; thank you!

CLC Staff Quiz (14/9)

Massive thanks to David Gamblin for all the time he spent creating the questions for the quiz, as well as Ann and Bryony for their proof-reading and hard work on the night. Everyone enjoyed themselves and a fabulous 527.73 was raised.

James' Triathlon (29/9)

James completed The Gower Triathlon in under 3 hours. It was a full Olympic Triathlon involving a mile swim (in the sea), a 40k bike ride (with hills), and a 10k run (including a beach and a steep climb). A massive achievement. James has raised over 5000 for Daniel (an equally massive achievement!).

Matt & Simon's Bike Ride & Bungee Jump (14/10)


Matt & Simon from Billy Shears Hairdressers set off from Cheltenham at 5.30am, to cycle all the way to Bristol in time for Matt to do a bungee jump! Brave chaps!! They have raised over 2000 for Daniel - an incredible effort!

Anne & Paul's Half Marathon (14/10)


Anne and Paul both ran the Cardiff Half Marathon, recording excellent times, and sporting their 'Help Daniel Find His Feet' wristbands. They raised an amazing 700. Well done and thank you!

Michael's Cycle to Work (17/10)

Leckhampton Rovers Football Club held a penalty shoot out and raised 200 for Daniel. Thank you!

Michael cycled all the way from his home in Cheltenham to his work in Newbury and picked a particularly wild and windy day to do it! A fantastic achievement, well done!

Cheltenham East Fire Station Open Day (27/10)


Chris's Three Half Marathons (7,14,21/10)

Cheltenham East Fire Station held their yearly open day, with a silent auction (featuring some truly amazing prizes), in aid of both Daniel and The Fire Fighters' Charity. Thank you to Chris, Rich, Nigel and all our friends down at Cheltenham East.

Chris ran three half marathons on three consecutive Sundays in Cricklade, Oxford and Birmingham. He raised an incredible 1222.50 for Daniel. Superb!
